Ok... so I posted my last blog and a few days later I was looking through my pics and realized I lied to you all! I wasn't actually wearing my crocs for the big hike... I forgot I changed right before we went up. I wore my running shoes instead. Don't hate me... I still wear my crocs on a daily basis. They still rock.
Today is Monday and we got back yesterday from a Rhino Sanctuary. We hiked out to stand 35ish feet from 5 of them! It was like the Wild Animal Park with no gates, bars or being in the tram. It was kinda awesome, but hte ride was about an hour and a half longer then we expected. My butt was so numb! I am walking into the market to pick up a few things and my skirt i had made. I am not teaching this week because the Senoir 4 girl have O level exams. I am going to sit in on some other classes, observe the teaching college and primary school. (i feel like i wrote that last time?)
I joined our girls today to wash clothes and last night a few of us helped make chipati (like tortillas!) I can't believe it's only 10 days left. My tile is quickly running out yet again and i want to post a few pics. Love you all! Joyce, I had a stand up shower yesterday and actually used conditioner! You're right, can't wait for the bath... I'll be washing red dirt off of me for weeks!

... I AM SO JEALOUS OF THE RHINOS!! Look at their dung! You can learn alot about an animal by examining their dung! Also, hippos reach speeds of up to 35mpg (seriously they go fast) so don't mess with them. They're considered VERY aggressive.

Jenn and I had dinner on Saturday and spoke about you a lot! Maybe your ears were ringing all the way in Africa. It's weird not talking to everyday...Miss you lots! Can't wait to hang out soon....I, too, have noticed your grammatical mistakes. However, I'm grateful that you're able to blog it up at all and these boo-boos are insignificant. Therefore, I must be a better friend....LMAO...

While yes, you have in fact made several grammatical errors, one can excuse this grave error in light of the fact that it is a generally known fact that wearing crocs directly effects one's ability to form correct sentences. (that would be an example of a run on sentence. I however, am not, wearing crocs... I basically have no excuse except that i am at work and therefore distracted by vast resposibilities and self importance) (That closed parentesis was for you David. You can thank me later by buying me a beer)
Miss you way too much... I, like Joann, am at a loss without our weekly phonecalls... and the peace march people have been strangely silent... I think they miss you too...

Missing you as always :0) Mom and dad are leaving today--it has been a good visit! It makes me miss home though, it is just hard being away from the family--but it isn't as far as Africa so I guess I can't complain--although you have always liked being away from us and being adventurous--should I be getting a hint right now?!?! :0) Well keep the posts coming, I LOVE them!!!!--PS David you are funny, but be nice to Jo or I will have to come beat you up!!
